Around two weeks ago one of our Light Brahma's went missing while free ranging in our yard. We chalked it up to a predator after searching all over. Today she turned up in the middle of a roll of hardware cloth that was tipped on its side and just enough of an opening for her to get into and trapped.

We fed her some fruit and egg, and she drank a bunch of water. Seems dehydrated which is to be expected, but has been becoming more lucid as time goes on. I've got her set up indoors in the brooding tub with a waterer loaded with electrolytes. We've also got some food in there that she's gradually eating.

Is there anything we should look out for or give as far as treatment? She's a bit wobbly on her feet, I'm guessing due to being stuck in that position for who knows how long, but otherwise seems alright. I'm not sure if there's anything that could make things better or worse though and would appreciate any advice.

I'm glad you found her.

Electrolytes is good to give. I'd offer her wet soupy feed to eat for the first day or two, then transition to giving dry feed, fruit, egg, etc.
