Four too many eggs..

I have four more eggs than will fit on the turner in the Genesis. Can I balance them on top of the other eggs? I seem to remember someone saying that you can do this. I was afraid they would fall off.

I did it. Then when I candled on day 10 there was room for all of them. I also kept track and 5 out of the 6 on top hatched.
