Mr. Fuzzy Pants. I'm guessing a rooster but I don't know beyond that.

Brownie - a brown egg hen.

Skunky - I'm guessing a Crevecoeur from what I have seen but not sure and not sure of gender.

why does everyone like to point out the chickens that are "poor quality" ? No one asked about the quality, just the breed. I don't know, it seems kind of uppity to me.

I agree to some degree, but I think it's also partly because, if the person asking does a search for the breed their chicken is identified as, they may get photos of show winners from that breed and then be confused as to why their bird doesn't look exactly like that. There's often a big difference in type and general look between a show-type bird and a non-show-type bird even if they are the same breed.

At least in my opinion, though, a bird being poor quality means nothing when it comes to how good a pet/layer/friend/how pretty the bird is, it just means if you entered it in a show it wouldn't place well.

How about we put it this way...
The first one is a hatchery Dark Cornish who was bred more for laying eggs than for showing?
Thanks Silver for putting it so well.

I agree 100% with pips&peeps.

pips&peeps :

1. poor quality cornish
2. easter egger cockerel
3. production red
4. looks like a crevecoeur to me too
