I was sure this was peck injury at first so sure I went and got supplies to build an additional coop but now I’m not so sure I found out fowl pox is a big issue in my area right now.

I think so I saw the scabs on most of my birds except my Turken hen and rooster. My turken was likely vaccinated for fowl pox because her breeder does it to all chicks at 4 weeks. The rooster is almost 3 years old so he may have already had the pox.Yep, fowl pox.
Since this appears to be the Dry form, it's best to let it run it's coarse. All infected birds will have immunity to the virus afterwards.I think so I saw the scabs on most of my birds except my Turken hen and rooster. Is there anything I can do?
Looking at my flock 2 out of 3 polish, 1 out of 4 may hatch, 1 of 3 from my June hatch and 1 buttercup all noticeably effected. My larger birds either have no symptoms (rooster and vaccinated hen) or very very small lesions on face. (Brahma , Cochin)That is a mild case of fowl pox so far. It doesn’t require treatment, and will go away in about 3 weeks. Some do paint scabs with Betadine to help dry them out, although it is best to not disturb scabs, since that can help it spread. Watch for any signs of wet pox which can cause yellow material or plaques inside the beak. That is more rare, but more serious.
I am not sure. It can affect chickens, turkeys, pigeons, quail, and I can’t find anything about geese.@Eggcessive can geese get fowl pox?
I couldn’t find anything on geese either thanks for checking for me. I think this time I will just let it run through my flock since they have all been likely exposed already. Next generation I will vaccinate before putting them outside with the SE Texas mosquito population.I am not sure.
