Ok so I have around 27 Chickens and 11 of them are in one coop and the others are in another coop(due to age differences) Recently I got a new rooster for the adult hens the 11 ones. Well I quarantined him for about a week and everything seemed perfect when I put him in with the girls. Well about a week and a half later we had a unexpected winter storm and it snowing and went into the 10s and it literally never gets that cold so I was not prepared. Well about 3 or 4 days after the snow had finally melted after being there for around a week I noticed that my rooster had many different colors on his comb and did not seem normal cuz there was about 3 boil looking bumps on it as well. I am worried that it might be fowl pox. Some of my other hens have some spots too but I personally think its just the pecking order establishment due to the fact it has been on there combs for a good while now and has not gotten worse. In my other coop I have nit seen any on their combs. I have also checked every chickens mouth and they are as healthy as a chicken mouth can be.

The rooster in the first picture has a frostbitten comb. I usually leave them alone, and the comb eventually will become more rounded off. In the second and third pics, it looks like peck wounds. You will only see fowl pox virus in hot weather when mosquitoes are out.
