sane hen just on both sides. What do I do? How do I protect the rest of flock? She's 39 weeks and no egg yet . I hear that's normal. Just wondering if the two had something to do with each other? Any advice on care would be great ! Thank you! I really treat my girls good! I can't believe she has a injury ! I'm very careful and keep coop very clean and they have great diet!

Hello everyone I have been reading up on Fowl poxs and I can not come up with any printed literature,
on weather you can or can't eat the eggs or meat of infected chickens.
If anyone has a link for more info I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for the help.

Fowl pox is not transmittable to humans. The eggs and meat are safe to eat.

Do you have any written documents of that.
I would like to show my wife so she's not so upset about it.
Thank you.

All of our chickens have fowl pox. They have had it for a week or two now. One of them is bleeding and seems not so active. Is there anything I can do to help with that or to help with the scab things on them? Or anyway to help them out?
