Fowlpox? What should i do?

Do you have stores that carry a complete poultry feed on your island?
I understand you are not home but could you have your father feel this area and see if it feels swollen?
Is it on the other side of the face too?

I do not think this bird needs to be separated either.
Separation can cause problems and I believe it is only necessary if one is being picked on.

I have checked the animal stores, but all they sell are wild birds feed (which is the mix of seeds i use) but i will double check in a week once i get back on island

I don't think it is on the other side, but i will ask him

I live on an island with wild chickens everywhere, and i got all my chickens from there (abandoned babies or injured chickens). Except for her, who i hatched. They are clearly different from regular house chickens (thicker bones, larger leg muscles, able to fly much more easily, ect) so i assumed that by letting them in the garden to peck around in addition to our kitchen waste -including the babies- they would get enough vitamins and minerals as they are more adapted at living without supplements. Could i be wrong? Maybe that could be the reason for her swollen face..
The mix contains millet (white and red), sunflower seeds, and dried corn

And for the egg shells i thought that if i didn't mix them up with something , the hens might notice what it is and try to eat their own eggs as a result. What could i mix it up with instead?

Can you post photos of the other chickens:)
Are you on a Hawaiian island where there is feral game fowl?

Are you keeping these chickens totally free range or do you keep them more confined. IF they are totally free range like most feral chickens, then likely they will find what they need, most of those flocks do at some point move further on/roam much like wild Turkey or game birds in the US - basically following the food.

If they totally free range, then the seed and a little corn will help supplement them, but they should be foraging for most of their food. Bugs of course would be a protein source for them. If you have them somewhat contained, offer them some protein like meat, fish, egg.

Egg shells that are crushed up and tossed back to the chickens will be unrecognizable to them, so that's what I would do.

I live in the Cayman Islands, and there isn't anything going around as i know of...
I let my chickens roam around at least 4 days/week, and i have been noticing that they venture out further and further away but they always come back, so i let them do. Now that i think about it, the moms don't usually get very far out with their little ones... i will try to include more protein in their diet, even if it isn't the cause for her swollen cheek

Walmart ship to store is usually free...I think. Walmart may sell a complete poultry feed.
We actually don't have Walmarts on island! We do have an unnecessary number of cat&dog stores but i have never heard of a farm store here. I will check, as there are farms and they must get their supplies from somewhere...

Hey everyone! I am now back home, and i am happy to be able to analyze the situation myself. I have also took some clearer photos.
So:
I have seen her drink and eat, but i don't really know if she does that well as she felt quite skinny when i picked her up, and not much food was in her crop. She runs around like a normal chick, follows her mother, reacts rapidly to the mothers voice, runs away from me, ect.

As you can tell it doesn't really look like bumps like i thought it was, but more like loose infected skin. I have been told that it looked much worse before we started the treatment, the skin was very loose and hanging around her face. I am also worried as the 'infection' seems to have spread on the beak and almost to her nostril on one side of the face (first pic)

On her wing is also this

No idea what it is.. looks kinda nasty and crusty. You can also see it on the first picture and below.

She's a very pretty chick, and i am very scared of loosing her. Her only sibling has already died of unknown reasons. I wasn't here so i didn't analyze the whole situation but my father told me that he didnt see anything obvious.

Her treatment was simply some disinfectant and antibiotic ointment on the area, every two days. It has been done four times so far

Also, i have noticed this on my six month old rooster's comb, and his face looks a bit puffy. Is there anything to worry about? Could it be mosquitoes?
