Vasper got up and walked over to where Dakota was laying. It wasn't fair to Dakota, to not know what was wrong with Sebastian. He was about there when he stopped and waited for permission to come closer.

Dakota lifted his head to see Vasper. He wagged his tail slightly and smiled a little.
 
Taking that as consent, Vasper walked the rest of the way and got down on the ground next to him. He paused a moment to collect his thoughts. Then said," You are a very outgoing fox, Dakota. Where Sebastian is not, I blame myself for that. I babied him too much. But, the short time we have been here, at the farm. He had developed a certain, affection for Mary. Dakota, do you see where I'm going with this? That's why he's behaving the way he is now. It's his first crush, he's gotta learn, the world isn't going to end." Vasper explained.

Dakota thought for a moment. "Awwwww... I feel so mean, if only I knew, but when I saw him he didn't show any affection toward her so I didn't see that he had a liking for Mary. Uhhhh... What do I do to make him feel better,I mean it's how life is my mother taught me that before she was sold, but I just dont want to end up butting heads with him, but I like like Mary. I can't help it, it's my male hormones." He flattened his ears, what was he to do to make his "brother" feel better without having a brawl for Mary as a mate. Especially when Spring came and both of them would be adults and searching for mates. It was complicated.

"Don't worry about making it better. He has to learn these things on his own. I only came over here to explain to you why he needs space." He inhaled deeply and let it out. "I've never seen him like this, never. Please just give him time. I made the mistake of teasing him. I shouldn't have done that, I think it made it worse. Alright, you take it easy son." Vasper said then he got up to leave.

Dakota sighed. Vasper is right, he'll learn these things sooner or later, even if it's not with Mary. And I can't stop the fact that if spring comes and he still has feelings for Mary that we may fight for her and it may effect our brotherhood, but it's life. Although I don't want to take his crush, but I can't help that she is so frickin' attractive!(Lol) One way or the other he'll have to deal with rival males taking his girl, I just don't want to be the bad guy. Why does life have to be so complicated! Especially when it comes to girls. Huh. He thought while he lay
 
When Vasper returned to Ashton, she had a big smile on her face. Suspicious he asked," What's gotten into you?"

"Nothing, how about we go hunting? I feel like chasing something. How about you? Get that adrenaline going. Nothing beats the thrill of the hunt! Come on Vasper." She pleaded.

Dakota couldn't help it he had to help his bud, although they might end up in a growling fight it usually goes back to normal a day later. He snook past Vasper and Ashton. Once he knew he was out of sight of the two he began running until he stopped right in front of him. "Hey Sabastion, I know what's up and... I'm sorry." His ears were flat in a kinda submission
