"I mean, they don't really ever try to kill us, we're just scared of them. Like how humans are afraid of spiders, spiders don't kill people usually but people are scared of them. I think we just panic because it's a canine that's bigger than us." Ruby said.

"I'm glad you feel that way. But here, they do. We are rivals for their food. I have see wolves hunt down coyotes and kill them. Not even to eat, just to kill them." Amari whispered to Ruby.

"Not often, though." She said. "The only time they hunt down another canine is when the canine panics and yells, which makes wolves think you're a threat to them." Ruby said logically. "But, even I am scared of them." Ruby said.

Damon came running back with a possum and a pheasant. He had them both by the tails. He dropped them and said, "Breakfast buffet!" he grinned at both females.
