We just bought a game camera which we will eventually be setting up near our coops. We have it set up in our back woods right now ~ just to see what is out there. We had a few pictures of deer as expected and then this critter...

We know we have fox and have recently heard coyotes. The camera was set up about 500 feet from the coops when this picture was taken so I'm sure that this critter has been around the coops at night too. We don't free range and lock everyone up tightly at night.

probably a fox or mangy coon. it looks to small to be a coyote, not really sure though.

eta good luck

Oh no...chupacabras have hind legs like kangaroos....and no (or a little bitty) tail.....they walk upright on 2 legs and their feet look more like ours, just skinnier....everybody knows that, right?
