Your birds must be tested AI free within 14 days of the show. OR Your state must have certified you AI clear. Not all states will do the AI free certification, but SC does. To stay AI free I think SC does testing every 6 months. To find how to do that you would need to contact your state Ag Rep or Vet. They will point you towards a tester that will do it. I don't remember the charge in SC, but I don't think it is much.

Once you have your papers make sure to bring them with you to the show or your birds will be turned away at the door. NC State Vets will be there to check.

The catalog will be sent out Oct 1st or 3rd. Everyone should have it by the end of the first week of Oct.

Sandy, there will be NO early coop-in on Friday. Alot of the out of state folks are going up to Crossroads and they are the only ones that normally use the Friday coop-in. Sorry.

Um... I am not going to be back from a trip till Oct. 10 so if I send it the 11th will everything still be ok to enter?

You will have till the 23rd of Oct. When mailing one in I usually send it Wednesday or Thursday the week before the sunday cutoff. If calling in I do it on Sunday which is the flexible cutoff date. As long as the registration is in by Tuesday(Oct 25) it will be fine. We hang coop tags wednesday and then no more entries will be accepted.

Matt~~thanks for letting me know---it's great to have someone you can count on for correct info. I was planning on cooping in friday because I hope to show over a dozen birds. Then I have a bunch for sale too......not everyone can fit in the van at one time
