Beth, we plan to come if nothing happens. I am the ASBC state rep for NC and try to go to as many shows as possible. It is about 2 hours for us. Enjoyed it the last time.

Question...I heard that the Morganton show may end. Is there any truth to that?

Not that I am aware of. There is a chance that with the Winter show in Feb may be combined with the Unifour show that is in March. With the Unifour shows moving to Morganton that is putting 2 shows that are about the same just 3 weeks apart. The fall Morganton show and OE Jamboree should keep going strong.

The only threat to the shows is the new AI testing laws for out of state exhibitors. Morganton is not really in danger since over 50+% of our exhibitors are in state. The Winston-S show may be in danger and the Greensboro Fall show is gone. It will all depend on what happens this Fall and next Spring as to which shows will keep going. As long as there are 300+ birds at Morganton, we can break even and keep going.

Morganton is a great show I think, been to one where it was lovely and sunny - a little cold though, and the other when it was wet and miserable, but if Matt is there with his cakes it is worth it no matter how cold or wet it is!
