Thanks to the wonderful weather, Franklin has been spending the day outside! Way better than the brooder

I'm also really starting to think that Franklin is, in fact, a boy! I didn't want a female call duck in the house because they are so loud...so I'm happy! He's getting raspier by the day <3

He LOVES that thing. There are two of them and he loves dabbling them and playing with the beads

Great! First off, Franklin is Frankie now because he's a SHE. She's got her quacks down.

She's almost fully feathered now and is constantly adapting to her disability. She is a beautiful pastel color. I need to get some updated pictures of her, but here are some from over the last few weeks. I can't wait for her wings to finish so that I can see her fly. I also have an ancona call duckling coming from Maine to be her buddy!
