Got this huge egg today. The egg next to it is a large egg. I get one this size every few years. The hen that layed it is a Plymouth White Rock.

I saw a video of how an egg is formed. It starts coming down the pipe pointy end first. But it's laid round end first. So, somewhere along the line, it turns around and at some point,I have a New Hampshire Red hen, Sandy, that lays that size egg everyday. Now I understand what all the singing is about. That’s probably like giving birth everyday! Haha
