Free chick from McMurray

That's what I've been afraid of. Was really hoping it turned out to be a pullet. I paid extra and purchased one rooster, now I'm up to three.

My hubby wanted me to add two little roos to our order of Golden Laced Wyandotte pullets. I told him that we should only order one because I just knew they would throw in an extra roo and I didn't want an extra roo at all! Sure enough, we now have three little baby roos!! I really hope none of the pullets turn out to be roos.

Any guesses as to what breed this is? Just got it today from McMurray as my free chick!

He kinda looks like the buff orpingtons that I have. I dont think they would send a buff orp as a free rare chick, maybe some of the more experienced chicken keepers can id the chick.

No poofy cheeks. She looks different now. Kinda long and leggy. Her wing feathers are coming in buff colored. I'll try and get some new pictures this evening.

We still haven't figured it out, but we are thinking the *extra chick is an EE, and the *Rare chick may be an EE. Both ended up having blue legs... So I had more pictures sent to me of the possible *Rare.. Here it is at 3 weeks: This is a picture of her legs. The girl up in front is a Buttercup we ordered.
