He kinda looks like the buff orpingtons that I have. I dont think they would send a buff orp as a free rare chick, maybe some of the more experienced chicken keepers can id the chick.
No poofy cheeks. She looks different now. Kinda long and leggy. Her wing feathers are coming in buff colored. I'll try and get some new pictures this evening.Does she have really poofy cheeks? I can't tell from the picture.
Egyptian fayoumi?We still haven't figured it out, but we are thinking the *extra chick is an EE, and the *Rare chick may be an EE. Both ended up having blue legs... So I had more pictures sent to me of the possible *Rare.. Here it is at 3 weeks: This is a picture of her legs. The girl up in front is a Buttercup we ordered.
