No idea if this thing has gotten national publicity, so I thought I'd post it here. It's made several rounds on local radio and television, and you can google "Bluebird Hill Farm" to find an endless amount of information. Anyway..
It's basically a free farm. Currently USDA organic - I think they do lavender mostly. Comes with a working farm, house, barn, chickens, cat, etc. I'm not affiliated, endorsing, andI haven't entered, and won't (in the process of buying more acreage, my family landed in Virginia around the time of colonization and plan on remaining a Virginian, I hate NC , etc), but it's at least a chance for someone to get land that potentially wouldn't a plot to work.
