Hello!

We are trying to re-home Nellie, a free range hen that adopted us a couple of years ago and never left. We don't know who she belonged to or why she decided to live with us but we have been feeding her and giving her water ever since she "moved in" to our Anaheim backyard. She's a great egg layer but can be very skittish around people. If you have a cage, we can set food inside and catch her for you. WE WILL BE MOVING TO LAS VEGAS ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 22, 2014! The new owner is planning to do a termite treatment on the eaves of the house and I'm afraid she might die from the poisionous fumes since she often goes up on the roof. PLEASE ADOPT NELLIE AND SAVE HER LIFE! You can call us anytime at (714) 713-0277. Thank you for your help in advance! Tessa & Michael

If no one replies here, the right thing to do is trap her and bring her to your local Mspca... Please don't consider just leaving her and hoping she makes through the poisenous fumes;( if I was local I would help..
