You really have carpentry skills Girl. Good for you. Reading your story I was thinking back on how I used to "work" my parents. I should have gotten an Oscar. But I guess most of us have done the same thing. It has made me better at dismantling my sons attempts to "play" me. Still I'm sure he has and I'm too dense to realize it. What fun tho.

Yea its a good thing I was using free wood cause i have a lot of pieces that are about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch too short

oops oh well they will find a use one way or another.

I need ideas for another nestbox they all lay around the same time everyday and fight over the boxes. I posted an ad to try and sell a few of them since the guy I got them from would only give them to me as a group and not divide. There are too many in the coop. I got the run all finished today and let them out for the first time. They were loving it. I feel kinda bad though the guy i got them from had 220 acres not that the hens used it all but they had that option. They only came in at night to roost and during the day to lay now they are confined to a run as we have too many airborne bad guys and loose dogs running around.
