FREE LOADERS !!!

It’s all the red mixes that gang up. If there anything like my sassy Rhode Island Reds that spells nothing but trouble

your practically there. some are getting ready to lay they appear. It's hard to wait sometimes tho. :) I am getting eggs from (2)of my 18 week old white leghorns and all 5 of my 19 week old EE's are laying. one started at 17 weeks old. My youngest to start ever so far. Now I wonder when my Easter hatch will start laying. Am I never satisfied?
Congratulations on your pretty birds. They will soon reward your patients.:thumbsup
A backyard chicken owner is never satisfied! Hence the words chicken math

Well, be patient with your girls... They will lay when it is time for them too... In the meantime, make sure they have good nest boxes and maybe put some fake eggs in there. They are a lovely bunch of hens, and it's not like you are having to buy eggs at the grocery store since you have others...

I’ve actually been taking my other chickens eggs and putting them in all the nest boxes. All eight of my girls have five boxes but they all want to use the same one. Hopefully I won’t have 18 of them wanting to use the same one. LOL I noticed when I let them out to have the entire run to themselves well my other girls are free ranging they like to check out all theNest boxes and pack their heads around in there. So I hope they’re noticing where they’re supposed to deposit these eggs
