It was great to see some gardening friends at the 3rd annual Piggin' on Figs yesterday at Boyd's garden.
We shared thousands of seeds with the community, and Morag McLaren McQuarrie was an amazing help during this event. Thank you!
Kelli Johnson Collins, we love the displays you shared. They are heavy enough to hold down the tablecloth if the wind blows and the seed packets fit perfectly.
Thank you!

Yesterday's event Metal Plant Tags was a fabulous time with gardening friends. Thanks to Diane, she had a great idea to cut the hangers a different way and add gems. We love these!
Mark was so kind to bring a thicker metal for stamping. We all had a wonderful time.

Our Seed Library and Stand (was only a bench) have been up for about 7 plus years. This is a fun memory that popped up. You can see the full moon and sauguaro.
🌵 That sauguaro has since fallen. We kind of miss seeing it.

"A day in the life of Maverick."
Monday meandering in the worm compost bin.
He loves this cotton rug and has claimed it.
Happy Monday, gardening friends and family!

Do you do germination tests on your seeds to see how viable they are. Or do you want to plant the ones that sprout 1st, or both?
We started some seeds yesterday morning. Here are the results.
We also remove part of the harder seed shell on the pumpkins and squash, making sure not to damage the seed inside.
From left to right.
🍃 Bottom right beets.
🌿 Top broccoli (success)
🍃 small sugar pumpkin 🎃
🌿 lady Godiva pumpkin 🎃
🍃 kobocha squash
🌿 lima bean
🍃 summer squash
🌿 Casper pumpkin 🎃
Stay tuned for updates.

Part of our mission is sustainability.
Please save your empty or full seed packets for us.
We are collecting them for projects.
Here are a few we received yesterday from a wonderful hosts Randa Stanford. Thank you!
