Free Plant N Garden Stands Org

Pics
After a seed discussion at a garden club yesterday, I was accused of beeing a seed nerd. It made me giggle.
You can call me that all day!

There was a sweet donation of these little gem seeds at the Pop up tool Plant N Seed Exchange
They were labeled free from Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company.
A kind gardener shared them, and as you know, this is how the Seed Libraries and Garden Stands stay open.
We are hoping to get them to sprout and share at the "city farm" homestead headquarters
Mesa, Arizona U.S.A.
If there is at least 90% germination rate, we will post up for the host's to stop by for their locations as well.
Happy planting, gardening friends!

None of our weeds go to waste. The girls come running. Plus, the garden bed has more room for something new.

Yesterday, Saturday, February 22nd, we had 3 events going on.
2 private ones for neighborhoods, and the 41st Annual Peace Fair in Tucson.
There are some amazing host's that go above and beyond to make not only their communities but others as we are all connected.
The one in Phoenix with Amanda J Williams with Fairmont Garden. There was this adorable black cat that was making the rounds to get attention. Her neighborhood is a special gem, where they all work together to help her stand and each other.

The joy we have handing out free seeds, plant's, and cuttings is indescribable. You have to join us sometime to understand the "perma grin!" Join our AZ GE Stand Org Volunteers on Facebook and see if there's a time you're available.

Before we took in the seeds a bit ago, we added these labeled containers for easier looking here at the "city farm" homestead headquarters
1438 North 66th Place
Mesa, Arizona 85205 U.S.A.
When visiting a location, be prepared.
🏷 have your plants or seeds labeled.
✉️ envelopes in case there are bulk seeds.
💧 a container with water for cuttings.
🎒 a bag for any old plants that could have fallen over from the wind.
Our stands are shared spaces. Only stop by during daylight hours. It is for everyone's safety.
Thank you, Nicole Kuhn, for these waterproof containers!
Keeping things out of the landfill is part of our mission.

This Scarlet-powder puff
(Calliandra haematocephala)
doesn't disappoint. These stunning flowers, seed puffs, and striking color are one of our favorites.
It has been in a pot for around 6 years. It gets some afternoon sun only, but mostly dappled shade the other times.
