2-4D is better on poison ivy than round-up. Better yet buy a brush killer. I feel for you as I have SAME problem. Huge patch that I'm after, I'm tired of DR. bills to clean up.......

Be sure to check your ph balances on your yard if you use the vinegar solution too much. You may end up with other problems. Dandelions look up or google to see all the ways to use them they are abundant. Also if you want an instant kill boil water in a kettle then take to the plant you want to murder and pour directly onto while the water is till boiling hot. It cooks it and kills it all naturally without hurting your ph balance or using chemicals(*this idea came out of organic gardening). But kingsdaughter I think you may want to just let your little chickies have a field day eating them all gone. They may think you have taken them to wonderland of treats
