Free Range Meat bird?

You guys have a breed you recommend I'd like one I could breed myself so I don't have to keep buying them.

I'd suggest you visit the breed part of the BYC site. There's lots of breeds included and I am sure that you will be able to find one that suits you. I would imagine that non commercial breeds will give you greater consistency when breeding your own.

What exactly are you looking for? What feature do you value the most? Foraging, mothering, size, feed conversion, Predator resistance, etc...
