Free rooster ad on Craigslist...interesting response

I'm sure she won't find this thread even if she comes to BYC.....there is so much to read here. It took me a long time before I had read everything and started being more interested in just "recent posts".

Besides, everyone needs to laugh at themselves. If she does read this she may think it is funny too that we all got a laugh. Sounds like she just didn't read the ad through before responding.

I have to think after someone contacts you abotu a rooster laying eggs, and you tell them "...rooooooster".

They get that OMG moment that comes with realizing they were reading the word rooster, thinking the generic word chicken and picturing a hen.

They hang up the phone to get out of this situation as fast as possible. They erroneously think only you two will know what happened. Unfortunately, there's this thing called the internet, now....

Um......this is a rooster (a male) - they do not lay eggs. He's just an extra rooster that I don't need for breeding, so I offered him on Craigslist.
