I have 24 pullets at 18 weeks (BA, RIR, BR, BC). Eggs started at 16 weeks. I am getting eggs at rate of two a day. I have always fed them garden waste, veggies along with chick starter from day one, and now grow-finish blend. All but 3 look like they are on steroids! They are so big and fat, that some look like meaties. I constantly experiment with weeds, etc to see if they like any in particular. Dandelions are favorites. They also like pepper plant leaves and a little less, strawberry plant leaves. Of course, all peelings, etc go to them exc for banana and orange peels. They have a large pen at 2,000 sq ft. and eat grass every day too, but that is going thin now. Hate to have them on store-bought feed only. I have always used Dumor.
