Any thermometer and hygrometer "can" be ok... just be sure to verify that they are accurate! There are simple ways to test both, so when you get them, we can go through all of that....

Ruby, I think I read where someone used crayon to reseal?  I'd think candle wax would work as well?

I know, I thought about that but there's like an indented circle, I didn't think I should do that in case it seeped in...I don't know, I panicked immensely.

I forgot what day you said you were on.  I'm thinking if past day 14, I'd stop turning, but if under that, I'd at least move it some.  Maybe not completely roll it, but shift it a little.  ??

And I thought about taping mine (it was more of a thumb print sized punch), but I wonder if the tape will hinder zipping?

Yeah, it's day 12. You're dead on. I just had a BYCer stop by to buy some eggs to hatch. I showed her and she said the same thing. Turn it half way, side to side but not have the crack be on the top or bottom. If this thing makes it to lockdown (which would be a miracle) I'm sure I'll have to assist. Thanks for the support. I felt so terrible! I was holding the flashlight and trying to put the lid on and the flashlight slipped out of my hand. Once I actually dropped the lid on an egg that was zipping!! Thank god it was fine. Those lids are very smooth where you pick them up. I have to be more careful!!

true story.

our family is pretty competitive with each other.

as an evening competition, we would see who could do leg raises for the longest time, or wall sits for the longest time, or the most real sit ups in a minute, and the most real push ups in a minute.

I won the pushups, competing against the 22 year old, and the 14 year old boys.

I won with 47 pushups in a minute!!

That's awesome!!! My 3 year old loves to work out with me so she loves to do burpees!!!! Hahahahahah!!!! And triceps dips.

Everyone else is sweet, so I will say what I'm thinking. Quit candling those eggs every 2 days
