OK Ravyn, now I'm curious. What does your rooster look like? Are you breeding blacks or BBS?

Things are good here Phil, been snowing all afternoon. DD2 is going to try and come down for New Year's - hoping the weather is good next weekend.

8 from the left side are the pullets... the 4 on the right are my broody hens, hers are double blue gene but just a hint of greenish...

I'm breeding Lavender and Blacks split to Lavender... Lav roo is causing leakage in the black sons though... but looks like I got that fixed, lol...

He's a black out of my own hens and a friends roo... she can't keep him anymore as he picking on her docile hen... I was given first dibs if I wanted him... he is absolutely gorgeous...
