3 weeks is just too long between batches in the spring.
You know samouw from the AM thread? She's on the SC thread, too, and loves the black cockerel

Last year was the test. I think I've proven I can justify 2. I just didn't want to be sitting on a bunch of unsold chickens. The cuckoo marans and EEs are big sellers for laying flocks, and I think these AMs are going to take off

It's not abiut that, you hatch a lot in spring anyways so you should have 1 for incubating and a hatcher... it makes a huge difference, really!

Much more versatility with 2 bators... it just makes any hatching easier...
Howdy....been busy but thought I'd say hi. Bummed I checked the ice...only a inch and a half...so I'll take the neighbor kid next weekend...
