........Well me and my friend walked out on it. Another guy came out and drilled a hole. It took him about five seconds...yeah I'm not taking a kid on that....then the guy jumped up and down.....the ice started cracking....I just looked at the guy and said....aaahhh.don't do that again.

Does anyone have any special tips for hatching quail? I have a friend that bought a cheap incubator and is struggling. Nada. I offered to do a hatch in mine and check out his incubator to see how it holding temps. Wondering about humidity.

Turk hatched quail, I believe... and didn't Ruby hatch a singleton? I've never hatched those and my friend who does is busy for next few days at least... I think they are similar to chicken/bantam eggs, just smaller and shorter incubation time...

Looked at my chart, coturnix are shorter (16-18 days) but bobwhite are same as chickens.
Are they coturnix @chicapee?
