The trio finally arrived this morning. Everyone was safe. Just a little dehydrated. I put sav-a-chic in the water and they drank and drank and drank. The girls are small in size. One is supposedly over a year old, but she seems so tiny for that age. And they are quite dirty from being in that tiny box for 3+ days.


And the pip from yesterday must have hatched early this morning. It was out but not dry yet when I woke up. And now there are several other pips. Last hatch started late and this one is early!

Wow, they look really pretty! More pics when you get a chance.

And the one that hatched was the taped egg?? That's super!! More pips too? Yeahhhh!

Lol....honestly, I don't know, I never had one!
They are all dark meat, but some cultures consider them a delicacy. The skin is all black.

No! That's ok. It was just last week. I never did two batches back to back like this. And another one is out! Don't know how I missed that. They are popping like pop corn! Guess I better clean the brooder!

That's great! It's always so much easier when everyone is integrated together and you don't have to worry about taking care of separate groups. Especially when the integration goes smooth!

Cute! Glad they made it safe... some lines are smaller than others, so it may just be that... go chickies!
