I'm surprised you say that about the tail. I was going to tell you to let me take a shot and see how I do at critiquing, and the high tail on my fat girl was one of my deductions. I like the sheen better on the lower one, and her lines just look...cleaner. She's a sleek looking bird. As much as this goes against my own personal philosophy, the fat girl's breast looks almost too big. Don't get me wrong, she's still a beautiful bird and I  her, but to my untrained eye the girl on the bottom looks better

I wasn't talking about how high the tail is set, but the spread from the upper feathers to the lower feathers of the tail... also, pic is a bit skewed as the fat girl has her feathers fluffed out... she had just sparred with one of my Lav hens for invading her terratory, lol...

Right. And I'm incubating because I need more chickens

I can have all the good quality hens I can get... don't mean squat if I don't have a decent quality roo to produce more of them...

You should have seen the PM. Sheesh...
She ordered her first chickens from a breeder that was supposed to send 2 pullets. One was a cockerel, and both had lice. Then she turned around and ordered AMs from the same breeder
