Just because it looks good on paper doesn't mean it works in the field

lets see, I've been a designer, construction manager, construction consultant, design consultant, area coordinator, construction coordinator.

I agree with engineers only seeing what is on paper, and having no real world expertise to see the continual problems and even more important applications of what they dreamt up in their heads.

oh, and I got my start in this field, by being a carpenter's helper in an industrial plant.

I've also been a fitter helper, and a fitter, not a great fitter, but my fits were square and plumb.

nah, just not smart enough to care.....

oh and by the way, I wasn't all of them on the same project. basically the same function, trouble shoot and problem solve, just different titles for different clients and employers.

besides, if I do my job right, there is no target.
