Sorry to hear that. Don't beat yourself up though. The decision to interfer or not is a hard one and sometimes it's hard to make that judgement call.Such is life. Poor little guy's entire beak was sealed. He was supposed to be a "red" Silkie. Fully developed. I think we could have saved him if we had known. He got bumped shortly after he pipped. The first one stimulated him to get going and he did. But he got rolled completely over onto his beak. He went down fighting though. We're heartbroken but another one just hatched!
