French frogs

I haven't. They will mostly be used in the brooder box in the house and in the grow-out box in the coop. Luckily, I think that most of our really hard freezes will be behind us by the time the chicks move out there. Big chickens have a metal waterer on a heated base, which has worked great for 2 winters now. No, not even a peep!
All of my heated waterers have worked great so far this year. The plastic ones with the heater built in, and the ducks have the metal one with base. We've got another cold front moving in. Im so tired of cold already.
 
I am usually at the Cafe for coffee :D

I have heard a few horror stories..If you have hard water the calcium can clog them up..,
I figure it's worth a try in the brooders, I'll just fill the pitchers from the RO just in case. They won't be permanent.

Much like here but less breezy. SC prefers all the windows open, Scott and NFC occasionally cracked the windows but prefer them mostly closed.
