Good morning from Kansas

Can't believe the record breaking heat coming our way. Hope this summer isn't going to be record breaking as well. It will be so hard on our birds!
Feeling better today. Now my daughter is sick. Ugh

It looks new, we did test it and works great. It has an inductor that shows if the battery needs replacing. It helps give a little peace of mind if I am out. If I am home I have alternative power sources.

The other thing about those is that they are only designed to supply power for a short time usually. For computers, some only give you enough time to finish what you were doing and shut down normally, instead of zapping you off in the middle of something. But... its a great way to avoid quick power surges and losses, and also give you time to hook up alternative sources for extended outages. Nice find!!

I think we are due another day, in the mid 70's with lots of sunshine.

Strangely, 35 didn't feel all that cold when I went out to check the birds this morning. Next few days are looking up and getting warmer. Pushing 70 this weekend!

Guess I'm building quail pens this weekend.

I've never raised turkeys but that seems like a major issue with them. They grow up. Sort of like babies eventually become teenagers.

Here's the Oz flock. I'm really happy with these chicks.
I've shown Mrs. Flock SQ silkies before and she hasn't seemed too impressed, but she died over yours last night. I have a feeling the Flocks will invade Oz Farm later in the spring
