Anything with too much sugar can aggravate nausea. To start, you want everything diluted with water. As it stays down, you can work up to full strength.

When he feels like it, cut the Gatorade with water and try again.

I stopped and bought Gatorade and some energy/hydration drinks but those have caffeine and that's probably bad huh. I wish I had thought about ginger ale. He likes that. I'll grab some of that too. Thanks so much!

No problem, just make sure to check if it is made with real ginger, I think Canadian Ale is.

Agreed, fluids is really your biggest worry. We had a bout of the stomach flu go though the family a while back. Cannot give small munchkins medicine so just pushed fluids. He should start to feel better soon, if not by tomorrow it is more then food poisoning and you might check with your doc.

Yes, but K is right it couldn't stay high forever

Same here! :highfive:

Sooo tomorrow is the 12th anniversary of my first date with my hubby. And he is sick as a DOG!!

We're thinking its food poisoning. I've never seen him so pitiful. He's 6'3, 260ish, manly man! And this has positively brought him to his knees.

Somebody tell me what to give him! How long will this last? Its been about 36 hours since it really hit him.

Water... just water... flush well with water until the stomach cramps ease up... even though you want to eat and want flavor, it makes it worse until the worst of it is flushed out... seriously, it is the worst chit there is...

Water, water, water... then try applesauce or just broth... go slow and easy, recent experience here... :/
