Just talked to Doc. It was bad, but he's gonna be fine. Probably be in hospital for a week, but shouldn't have any issues! Yeah

good morning Berts and OZ  tell you that man thing tuff guy will get you in trouble  knew the boy was in for a long stay on I Vs last night sounded just like mine. only I was dumber . working out of state on along project I went to the apartment we had rented .put cold compresses on my side for a day went back to work the next day :/   finished my part three weeks later went home . one later in the hospital for a week same thing bad infection . He'll be fine WV will be tired already been going through this for a week

WV I'm real glad DH has made it through

Once the appendix ruptures it's always bad. Those are some scary hours for all involved. But antibiotics will clear up all of the infection.
When I was 16 my boyfriend was traveling back from Colorado and his appendix ruptured, had emergency surgery he even had drainage bags for a few days. They said it was almost too late to save him. But his ruptured several hundred miles from a hospital.
It will take him a little while to bounce back but he'll be back to his old self before you know it

Glad he's doing better.
