It's like an ElCamino or a dual sport motorcycle. Why be half azzed at two things when you can be really good at one, or enjoy the other?

So i think we will be Roosterless by morning. SOB attacked thing 2, this time for real, not just bluff. No reason for it she was playing nicely far away from him. DH was home and saw him, jump on her and scratch her. I told him to go ahead and kill it, he decided to try cutting his spurs. But he also beat him a bitI am not really upset, if it dies i will happily dispose of it, I do not know what i am going to do with the thing of it lives (Other then process it when i do the others)![]()
**** thing
(Thing 2 is fine. Husband chased him off quickly. She has some scratches that i cleaned with disinfectant, but no permanent damage fortunately)
Glad you guys are OK.Had a wreck yesterday T boned and older lady she pulled out in front of me . maybe thirty feet skid marks twenty ft. maybe and we drove them away guess I was driving on instinct and had slowed down some watching her so was able to almost stop but still hit her pretty hard . so not to bad short stop though , still one head light grill radiator frame bumper and cover and who knows what else . I was lucky and so was she . people drive fast there .used to driving heavy and ahead of myself .

These stories make me so thankful for my docile roosters. I've had a nasty one before, and it's no fun. Definitely makes them easier to process, though![]()
Igave him every chance i could. First, he was young, so i thought it was just growing pains. Then he only had one hen, so i thought maybe excess energy. But he is out of lives. Yes i wont feel a bit bad to make stew out of him.
It really does make it easier. I'm thinking of taking both of mine out and just being roosterless for the summer until the babies grow out until I can choose a new one.
@WVduckchick Here are those photos I promised!!! Finally!!

Lastly, no name. It's the CLB fibro that I think is a cockerel.

eGot my first OEGB egg today!e
I assume its the OEGB. She looks much further along than the Sebrights, and she has been submitting to the boys.
I'm adding 5 more OEGB hens, as soon as I can go pick them up, so I better get to work on their own pen.
Wow, too many irons in the fire!
