I'll tell ya why...riding my Magna on a fresh diamond cut concrete road was like driving on ball bearings.  Riding my Honda CRF on Michigan potholes, steel bridge grates, grooved roads or those same diamond cut roads, hard to tell the difference between that and good concrete.  And the CRF is also good on fire roads and riding in the woods, where the Magna feared to tread.  Of course there are better dirt bikes and better street bikes, but having one bike that can go everywhere I want to is wonderful.  

my Indian wasn't very good off the road....but I never wanted to leave it. Really hated selling it....but when you can't ride anymore wasn't much use but to look at it....it was a big bike though Maybe I could handle a Sportster...probably not...

Totally, completely unacceptable behavior.  He'd be on ice right now if he were here.  I've dispatched for a lot less than that.  Glad she's okay and hope she learns he was just a bad boy.

I am fairly confident he is already dead. If he lives he will be on ice when i have the time to do it, i just do not have the time or ambition right now.

Got my first OEGB egg today! e
I assume its the OEGB. She looks much further along than the Sebrights, and she has been submitting to the boys.
I'm adding 5 more OEGB hens, as soon as I can go pick them up, so I better get to work on their own pen.

I have a silver sebright pullet and several OEGB self blue, a bb red, & silver duckwing pullet

Totally different subject for just a moment...

Some of you may be interested to hear that I'm strongly considering (as in, I'm going to) making candy (mostly fudge) for Easter. If anyone finds that very interesting, go ahead and PM me so we don't turn the Frog into advertising

Proceeds will go towards going through the hoops needed to allow me to get the licensing to sell at farmer's markets and craft fairs and such (selling to retail establishments requires a commercial kitchen, and we're not going to go that route quite yet).

Oh, and as long as I'm on this bit of topic drift, what flavors say "Spring" to you? Ideas I've had and suggestions I've gotten are: strawberry, lemon, orange, cookies and creme, maple and black walnut (definitely a suggestion, as I don't like maple or walnuts

), lavender (a suggestion which intrigues me), as well as my normal chocolate and white chocolate (with and without walnuts) and chocolate mint. The fruit-flavored fudge would likely be "and cream" because there would be a white choc base.

1st one went ok, he wasn't thrilled with the $... 2nd one sounds more promising to him, but new territory so more risky... think he goes in for training to get certified later this week, maybe?

I might not have that last bit right... things got crazy when he came home... had a navigationally challenged juvie drake go off the grid... had to crash through brambles and such looking for him and the stupid little chit walked home on his own... :/
