French frogs

Trust me, the security guys like me better than that nurse does!  And I'm sure they like me better than they like her too  :D

If she's rude with me or him just one more time....

Yep, still on the IV.  Went to the ER Thursday evening, surgery at midnight Friday morning, so today is day 6.  We're hoping he'll be out by Friday or the weekend.

:hugs :fl

About the EE eggs, they are putting the incubator, a Hova bator Genesis in my office.  I'll never get anything done.  Anybody have experience with the Hova Bator...  Gosh that sounds too much like something else.....where's the rope?

On politics:  I think people are sick of fakes and that's why Trump is getting a lot of primary votes.  I think the Republican politician's, and Democrats for that matter are scared to death of him.  My Christian values are very important to me but I think Carson and Kasich are probably the only two candidates that are really sincere about their faith.  There's more division now in our country that there was when I was in my 20's.  (That's was a long time ago.)  I want someone who can bring unity.  I think everybody is sick of politicians, that's why Trump is popular.

Oh, and about the price hike on the eggs.......I've got trooper friends on I-26. :tongue

I have 2 Genesis Hovas... been running almost nonstop for over a year... rock solid, best styro bator out there, hands down... :)

How about the temp and humidity readings?

So back in january I pruned my moms rosebush and I tossed the trimmings in a leaf pile and pretty much forgot about them, well today I was taking some shovel loads of leaves and ran into a bunch of sticks at the bottom so I pulled them out to make it easier to get the leaves and they were my rose trimmings, buds swollen still green and callouses on the ends!

I tried rooting some cuttings of that same bush in 2014/2015 and not one took

The wood of some of these trimmings is over 4 years old.

Can you use them?

Dont you bring them to order every morning??

That's awesome.....:fl

Is it accurate?  Did you have to compensate?  Do you use a back up calibrated thermometer/hygrometer?  And at lock down is there enough capacity to get the humidity up or did you add sponges?

It's accurate for temp, I think a couple months ago the hygrometer reading went slightly off... I NEVER trust just one set of thermos/hygros, no matter what bator it is... always have at least 2 or 3 of each in case 1 craps out during a batch...

Once your temp is set though, it has stayed rock solid... I now run mine slightly higher so I adjusted them a few months ago... still staying steady and that's the only temp adjustment I've made since I started using them...

Filling the wells in the tray keeps humidity up for hatching pretty well, but they tend to dry out before 3 days is up... and it made it a bigger pain for cleanup so I switched to small containers covered in wire mesh for humidity control... also I put gripper shelf liner down across the bottom mesh to make hatching cleanup even easier...
