It says 7 years from power up, and the mfg date is Oct, 2008, so I guess its done.

I'll bet there's a new one here somewhere. If not, I'll get one tomorrow.

Just like smoke alarms, yep... even when they say they last for x amount of years, it's recommended to change them anyways every so often... I just can't remember what the x was...
