Night!

I hate when the temperature goes up after a long cold spell . it drops alittle and seems like it a lot colder than it is , but 7 below is cold anywhere . 70 plus yesterday 50 today 30 tonight . I wish it would stay hot or cold . but that is what living here is like .so I have a cold that will last for weeks . :/

Yeah when the temp fluctuates to fast creates all kind of havoc..... It was really nice today...... After it warmed up..... Then the temp dropped again and clouds rolled in.... Supposed to get another 10" tonight.... Hopefully we don't get that much..... But it's supposed to be up on the upper 60's again at the end of next week....:fl

Miss you, my friend...

I miss you too . had a little time today .I was able to leave Ben at the center for a little while and go to a heat and air supply house . I have the cabinet completely apart . found some pipe wrap this morning that will make new gaskets and picked up new screws . The paint I can't match . guess I'll change the color some . this one is a lot worse than I thought . it needs some new corner angles .I'm going to have more in it than its worth

I'll have to hatch and sell a lot of chicks to break even .

Speaking of hot wings, hubby and I went to our local wings and brewery tonight for dinner. First dinner out since before his surgery! He didn't last long. The wings didn't agree with him, but the beer helped

Good night WV BTW he shouldn't be eating things like that yet .

Just curious - What humidity do you like to hatch at?

It's always dry here, so I'm glad I have the advance with the humidity pump. Last hatch with both wells full and paper towels across the bottom, it was around 55%. I just use the pump to bump up the humidity the extra %.
I hatch at 45%-55%, not higher than 60% or I run into wet and sticky, not lower or I get dry membranes. That's true across all my hatchers, but the cooler is most forgiving of variation, the Ova Easy is the most constant, and the Eco 20 is the hardest to control. This time the Eco went overboard and fogged up in the heat of the hatch, making it harder for the late ones.

Ouch! My boy was a pitcher and catcher alot of his years too.

Yep, Wilkesboro was a great track. Always exciting races. Wilkes county still dry?

Probably not dry anymore because tourism is a fairly large chunk of the commerce now. Need to go home and visit family. Seems like we only go back for a funeral. :/
