French frogs

:gah: Hit by cuteness by both Halves :gig I was tempted to do my usual "Want but can't have" thing over on FB, but thought better of it... I told my older daughter that she doesn't have to share *everything*--she was throwing up all afternoon yesterday, and sure enough...
Sorry!! I keep forgetting you do get it from both Halves, lol... and he posts EVERYTHING, even when I tell him NOT to!! *sigh* Hope your daughter feels better soon...
So here is my duplex brooder: There are 71 one week old chicks in the upper unit and they cover about 25% of the floor space. They decided to be shy for the camera, except one Lav Am up front. Temps in the box range from very cool to warm and cozy and they are free to move around. Just in time, too, as there are 27 more Easter Eggers hatching tomorrow, and I still have about 18 underperformers inside getting a chance to advance without competition, and another 60 turkeys hatching over the next couple of weeks.
 That's nicer than my own house!! :gig Amazing job, Walnut!! :highfive: :thumbsup
They are hiding under the snow shovel....:lau
That's just cruel... he can't even pock it up anymore... :gig
She's feeling lots better--she's attempting food with flavor this evening. I'm still on saltines and ginger ale.

Hope everyone starts to feel better.... There seems to be a lot of sicknesses going around on these threads lately..... I've been throwing everyone in my prayers lately.
I don't know that I hold any clout with God but I'm trying..... Phil

Is that the ol', "You ain't gotta go home, but you can't stay here" approach? I never understood those that are so hesitant to move their babies out and want to keep them inside forever -- I think I start counting the days to moving them out the day they move in.......
Nice - I've not seen anyone plant corn with a barrier like that, good thinking!

Thanks. I didn't want to hoe and it was going to rain so I just put a bunch of paper feed bags down and cut holes in them.

Was looking for something to insulate my incubator with. Remembered I still had the box it came in tucked away in the closet in my man cave. Yep, all the styrofoam it came in was still there. And wouldn't you know it, it was obviously built with the thought of being able to run the incubator in it.
