I am going to try to set one up in my basement with plant lights for over winter. We have a much shorter growing season and I do not have a greenhouse (Maybe someday but I am putting alot of money in these meat birds this year) so maybe this would allow me year round vegetables.
But it would work great for you, you have the sun.

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great spring. Just dropped by to say hello and give a quick update. The fertile eggs shipped from D&D Farms are all going into lockdown. I hope to see some real AMs hatch this weekend.

We also hatched our first batch of Bev Davis Marans! We have 3 little ones now.

We also hatched our first batch of Bev Davis Marans! We have 3 little ones now.

Good luck with the Ams, hope you will be able to stop in with some results.
That Marans is adorable! Got that flaky look again. What happened with that other one that looked like that?

The flaky on this one is just reflection from the light. I'm still second guessing the other one. I have hatched 4 others just like it. The first one is all black so far. Looks like a Black Wyanodtte with some yellowing on the feet.

Hey Sid, I just emailed you. So, 9 made lockdown? Man, I really hope they all hatch. I'm sending your others out tomorrow. I gave you a few different options, just let me know which way you want to go
