How is you holding up?? How's Ben doin'?
I'm making it all right . It is getting better with Ben. we rode the van home today and hope to let him ride alone starting Monday .They moved him to a different area today . we're there longer everyday and he seems to be good with it . He is used to going on the van but not coming home on it . Getting him to get in the van for the ride home was hard but he got on . I'm going to lone one of my incubators to a teacher next week and supply the eggs for a special needs class so the kids can do the hatch . DIL was a student teacher in the class last semester. Asked me if I would do it she really likes the teacher .I'm supposed to take it to her on Monday . I'm going to see If I can get her to join the BYC and post on Amy's thread to do up dates and pictures . Should be good for the students .Have to get bed

If you don't want it and they put a price on it tell Ross she is building one but might want it and it does look good . Like Walnut said IF it works good. they are like cars they don't set well they need to be run every once in awhile to keep them working good .

How strong is the feather leg gene?

If homozygous is heavily feathered like Cochin or Brahma, and heterozygous is feathering like a BCM, the first cross of het and non yields half het and half non. So as long as one of the parents has some feathers, they will persist. I haven't bred two of the feather footed babies back together yet, not sure if I have any from the Brahma/Am roo and his feather footed daughters before I sold them.
