Just sad to not pass on those handsome genes of his... dang Johnny... Susan is awesome, that was an amazing offer, congrats...

I was worried about fertility, since he is an older roo, but he's got 100% over 5, only pulled a couple quitters that were laid in the mud and rain... I've got the Segler eggs marked to separate at hatch... just can't wait to see them... thanks...

I'm probably done for the year, at least until I get rid of more surplus cockerels and figure out which direction to take my hobby.

I give my neighbor's eggs, and now I'm starting to get micro-greens in return from a neighbor's greenhouse. Trying to encourage a little neighborhood co-op instead of charging for eggs.

I've been doing some of the same selling duck eggs.... Just traded a dozen duck egg's for a dozen Easter eggs...I now have a second duckling zipping and another pip...I was sure I was going to totally fail.... Thanks All my friends here I already have my next hatch collected.....,..:)
