Well, remember about a year ago when Anthem was hacked? My identity was stolen. I think a credit check is done with the background check. Everything should be good by now. My company hired some firm to lock down our info & fix anything that hit our credit, but I haven't checked. They advised me not to run reports unless absolutely necessary. We'll see.

Did you let them know you had an identity theft issue a while back? Most places are great about those things if you let them know...

I'm not going to say anything unless they tell me they tried to run reports. They can't get them without me calling the credit bureau to answer security questions. If it gets to that point, I'll tell them about the ID theft.

I've only ever seen big mixed flocks with turkeys, ducks and chickens running around together.  I think a lot of the "rules" and things you're told to be afraid of get blown out of proportion at times....kind of like the issue of "you MUST build a Ft. Knox type setup -- anything less is neglectful and means you shouldn't even have poultry" -- nothing wrong with folks who do opt for that approach, and Ft. Knox is certainly a must for those who are unwilling/unable to accept the risk of an occasional loss, but it isn't the ONLY way to do things nor are other ways wrong or bad.
