I will appreciate that, all ouer Araucanas began from 7 individuals, so with this small gene pool, it could be that we didn't get it!

Probably you won't, but there is never a guarantee about recessive traits cropping up... especially in a small genetic pool... I looked through my pics, but don't have a good winter face pic, will have to get one...

It's depend on whay you have them, if it is only for fun don't give a **** on what people say, but if you want to sell them you should try to have the best breeding birds you can, as close as to the APA SOP. It will maximize your profet/ investment ratio!

Benny, I absolutely agree... and I have made huge improvement in my Araucana bantams... I was talking about how quick some are to condemn a bird to trash just cuz it is not 'perfect'...

This is what I bred out last year...

Not quite a perfect Silver Duckwing, but he came out of this...

And now I need to breed her to him...

I like these too.

@RavynFallen not super yellow pads, but not dark like the others. To the eye they are more yellow than they look in the picture, and evenly toned across the toes and pad.

She does just fine, roosts, grooms, scratches just like the others, just less efficiently.
