Some of those brown eggs are not so bad either. Those are just common red sex links, but some of them lay pretty dark eggs. I'm going to collect some of those for the spring hatches. The production red influence comes through in the rate of lay, that olive egg layer is laying 6 out of 7 days a week.

More of my EE pullets are laying! The one on the left is from the two year old black and white cochin/EE hen. She lays perfect eggs every time, great shell quality, but she lays them on the floor ALWAYS.
