It's a wheat beer, with raspberry--not enough to color, but enough to sweeten a little bit. I tend to prefer the darker beers, but that was yummy. I haven't had many mixed drinks, but I remember a fondness for St. Brendan's and peppermint schnapps (not Bailey's--tried it with Bailey's once, and it Did Not Work) I don't remember the ratio, though--'twas about 21 or 22 years ago (the bad mix was on my 21st birthday, and paid for, so I felt bad that a special request mix was too heavy, and I haven't had the good mix since). Both of my husband's parents are alcoholics, so it's simpler to just not have anything in the house. And since my husband's a pastor (director of a ministry, but he has a pastor's license, and he's called "Pastor Tom" by folks...), and that makes me technically a pastor's wife, and this is a small county...

It's okay Amy....totally respect you...I grew up in a alcoholic household....and although I do drink too much...I never let my life cross that threshold....and if it ever does I hope someone is there to say stop....

JD is too smooth for me Sally...I like a cheaper whiskey....for the burn....but my favorite is "Devils Cut"

that's because JD is a gentleman's drink smooth but strong one of my favorites . We have expensive taste in the south . that's why we couldn't win the war all the money went for liquor . none left for munitions
